Meme si les ingrédients spécifiques de l'original de 1989 ont été gardés (en particulier cet arpège de guitare), la chanson a subi un peu plus qu'une revisite pour coller encore mieux au texte qui parle de la manière de surmnonter une rupture. L'arrangement, très modernisé et plutot fouillé, est maintenant complètement bati sur un crescendo entrecoupé par quelques pauses toute en retenue, lancé par une Lalo dans le role de l'amoureuse éconduite, avec un premier couplet pour consoler et ensuite un deuxième couplet pour secouer (et ça secoue). Et ça semble marcher puisque que le final un peu fou est un appel franc à la vie retrouvée. Et on pourra aussi ajouter que celle qui fut la 7ème chanson de Monmix s'est transformée en la 400ème chanson....
