La toute première chanson chantée (elle avait été précédée de quelques instrumentaux comme Set me fire ou Us and the play) en Decembre 1988. Le dictionnaire d'anglais avait beaucoup servi à l'époque pour y piocher des expressions toutes faites pour agrémenter un texte sur une rupture. Le texte n'était alors qu'un prétexte pour accompagner un arrangement résolument blues avec harmonica et guitares et plutot lancinant....et sans doute trop long et répétitif
31 ans plus tard, toujours en approche rock-blues, Monmix mise sur une version plus courte, tout en interprétation avec un arrangement plutot sobre et une explosion finale en instrumental de feu soutenu par des cordes, des cuivres, des guitares pleureuses , des vocalises de Vibe et même un dernier vers en cri deséspéré.
